Downtown

Built in 1882, this historical building was once the original Louisiana National Bank where most of the city's post-Civil War planters and merchants kept their money. Since then, it's housed an insurance company, dress shop and even served as a residence. The building's basement area was home to two of Baton Rouge's most famous and longstanding watering holes, Rip's Huddle, which opened in 1955 and The Thirsty Tiger, which operated from around 1977 to 2007. The Little Village opened its doors in October 2005 and features exposed brick, checkered floors and a warm, inviting Old New Orleans feel topped off with the upbeat energy of downtown. Casual, but upscale, you'll find people visiting from table to table and the steady crackle of lively conversation punctuated by hearty laughter. While there is no reserved seating at lunch, it is highly recommended you make reservations at night.
Located downstairs beneath the restaurant is our upscale wine and martini bar Willie’s On The River. Guests can relax here while waiting on their table upstairs or stop by Willie’s before a night out on the town. Appetizers from the Little Village are available, as well as a dining room for private parties.
Formerly the Thirsty Tiger —one of Baton Rouge’s most famous watering holes —Willie’s On The River is named after the ghost that reportedly haunts the building. Willie was a stable hand who was killed in 1848, when he was crushed by a falling wall at what is now the site of the bar. Patrons and employees claim Willie never left, so we decided to name this place after him and give him a permanent home. Cheers, Willie!

Airline
Don't let the location in the Barringer Foreman Crossing fool you. While the outside shell sits within an upscale retail park, this newer, larger location has managed to perfectly capture the feeling and warmth of our original location. Dim lights, New Orleans-style black and white tile, exposed brick and a beautiful red-rouge color scheme set off the gorgeous 100-year-old beams that frame the dining room. A little quieter than downtown, it's great for a romantic meal for two or even the entire family.
